As the report says, a realistic option and far better than Bertrand. Would be a wise long-term investment and someone who can definitely get better under BR's tutelage. £10m seems a fair price too.

I know nothing but I assume he is better than Bertrand. I have faith in BR, sign him up.

Agreed - much happier with this than with Bertrand. A solid prospect who would certainly benefit under BR. I'm hoping the BR ties to Swansea would help swing this in our favour, although the fact that Spurs seem to be a fair bit less stable than us with regard to hierarchy over the last couple of years might help too.

Ricardo Rodriguez would be a dream signing at our left back spot.

Guess the Moreno deal won't be happening now.

I actually like Davies he's a decent young full back plus he has some europeon experience from playing the Europa league last season. Not sure if he's good enough to push us on another level though.

To be honest I've seen him a couple of times, not really enough to say one way or another but I've heard some people really rave about the kid.

Ben Davies is a good little player. One who got a little lost in the shuffle over Luke Shaw. Feels like, if anything, it would be a squad signing to rotate with Enrique and not a starter. Not right now, anyway.

I've seen him in the games against us and also for the national team.

He's a good full back, defending wise does the simple things well and he can get forward too. Will only get better.

Maybe not as mobile as Luke Shaw but if he's worth 30m then Davies has to be worth 20m!

Would rather him over any of the other left backs we've been linked with.

I rate the lad but the disappointing thing will be if we sign him is that it is likely we didn't pay what was needed to get Brendan's number 1 target which appeared to be Moreno.

Right now I don't think he is but he potentially could be.

I don't think there are many better than Jose in this league which is why I'm a disappointed Brendan seems to have missed out on his first choice due to finances.
