      Champions League Tickets
      Jul 13, 2014 08:32:51 am
What is the situation for trying to obtain Champions League tickets? I have just resigned up to a membership after a couple of years out so I prob would be struggling to get a ticket I'd imagine? Do they ever get released to members or go on general sale?

I am not saying that I would defintley be looking for a ticket as my shifts or finances might dictate I couldn't make it, I just wanted to know the situation incase the opportunity presents itself, I'm not here to steal any regulars ticket or that.

      Thanks

I'm guessing most will go to some sort of limited general sale at some point. Just have to be on the ball when the announcements happen.

You can get on auto cup scheme if you have 3 out of 4 Europa games on yr card (Udinese, Young Boys, Anzhi, Zenit).

Booked myself 2 tickets myself sadly there's 3 of us that go regular but one of lads only got a card last year so even though he went to all European games that season none are on a card! Just gunna hope I can sort him one so he can go with us.

It won't be any use to you tbh mate if you haven't 3 of the 4 Europa games on. But it basically guarantees you your seat, you pay 50p per card if you hit the criteria and it automatically charges yr card for the seat.

All 3 of us went to all Europa games but like I said only two at the time had cards, my mate got his start of last season so as it stands got two seats on same row and gunna av to hope can sort my mate out nearer time.

I've booked flights myself for the Madrid game, so now the hunt for tickets begins! I've no Europa League games done, so it could be quite tough.

General sale for Ludogorets game is 8:15 next Tuedsay.

Out of interest does anyone know if I can buy a ticket if I've already got 1 on my card via the auto cup scheme? Basically need between 3 and 5 tickets for the game, but have currently only got 2 guaranteed through ACS. I've four members cards tied to my account but was wondering if I have chance to get the 3 extra one's, would I be able to put 1 on either of the cards that have got a ticket through ACS?

Only for members with 2 games from the last Europa campaign.

Hoping it goes down 1 as I've only got Anzi and the Hearts qualifier which isn't being considered.

Does anybody know if it will just go to season ticket holders or if it will go to season ticket holders with so many away games on their card? Can we have an educated guess? Or is it all still up in the air?

If you mean for Madrid away it will most likely go on sale First to all season ticket holders and members with 2 or 3 away games from the last time we was in europe, which was the Europa League.  It will then drop to 1 I would think and then if there are any left which I would imagine will be very few it would be all season ticket holders with no credits

Quick Question to you ST holders, just so I can get my head around this....  You pay for your ST - then you have to pay for Cup and European games also?

I assumed the 0.50p just booked your seat for the match...  Wow

      Failed.

Right can somebody please explain to me if yesterdays sale was ST with Ludo and today's was members with Ludo...  how can it be sold out if some members couldn't get a ticket?

So pissed off.  not because I miss a 'glamour tie' but because now this hurts me throughout the competition.

I'll struggle for Basel and if we get into the knock-out's I'll struggle then.

      What a joke.

Gutted for you mate, there was a priority rights sale on the Monday which had no prerequisite, I'd say that and possibly fact Madrid might sell there whole allocation whereas Ludo probably didn't (more people went to first game than available seats for Madrid match).

If by some chance 1 of my mates can't go I'll bear you in mind if you want (no promises).

      Thanks mate.

I’ve got a feeling it might be more to do with corporate (TC Breaks) and getting more money that way.

I’m annoyed because like I said before it effects my ability to get to the game from now on, relying on luck rather than credits.

But also disgusted in the club.  Priority should be based on loyalty and loyalty rewarded.  We all know they don’t care about that and it’s more important to fill the stadium ASAP and pay for another weeks’ worth of players’ salaries.  This would have been a sell-out regardless of how they structured the sales.

But hey ho.  To the pub I go.

Apparently there were less than 2,000 tickets in the members sale yesterday! So even factoring in our STH and Madrid taking a bigger allocation than Ludo but still............where the hell have those other tickets gone? Can't be just the TC brigade and corporate!

The club continues to alienate loyal fans and I, along with countless others had similar problems in the first bulk sale but only worse it's going to become.

Hope you get sorted somehow mate.

They will want you at the end of the season though on a rainy night when all the plastic fckers have dissapeared ,its fast become a big joke mate to the extent where i have given up even trying, good luck on finding one mate as you surely could if you had plenty of money for all the corporate fckers they have stashed ,

Not as hard to get today as earlier games have been, I wonder how many of the schmoozing corporate 'fans' are going to this lesser game.

2 minute wait and got 2 seats together just 7 rows behind my ACS tickets. I just hope to f**k we're still in with a chance of going through by match day 6!!!!

For the first time in 20 odd years I haven't been able to get on the Kop for any game this season.

Really want us to make it a thing of singing to money for nothing at half time. That was brilliant in the Bernebau. Then van halen jump after it. Awesome. Good effort to all reds going to the next one. Let's make some noise and push us through. Come on redmen.
