Better team won, over the 90 minutes Barca always looked like they had an extra gear.

The sight of pogba consoling pirlo is very sad.

      Pogba looks a brilliant player.

There was one point Messi went down with Evra in a challenge in the second half I was praying it was Suarez he took down, might have been absolute carnage.

Neymar finished the competition as joint top scorer. 10 goals. World class.

Considering his other goal should have stood, he could actually have 11.

Congratulations to Barcelona. 5 UCL trophies now - and to think not long ago they had less European trophies than Nottm Forest!

Happy for Suarez and for the best player in the world, Lionel Messi - who wasn't at his very best but even so is capable of making the difference.

Goodbye Xavi Hernandez and (possibly) Pirlo. Two great players who've probably played their last games in Europe.

Neymar's goal was ridiculous. Ref should have blown his whistle long before that.

2-1 was the correct result tonight. 3-1 is shameful.

His handball goal was rightly not counted.

More on Neymar: the first player ever to score on Libertadores and UCL finals. The first to score on both legs of the quarter finals, semifinals and the final.
Top scorer. Won it all. Nearly 40 goals in the season.

Shameful? Juventus would have won had they practiced shooting in training, they were poor in front of goal.

His handball was accidental so it should have stood so its should have been 4-1
what is sad is that our great club is at this moment as far away from a CL final as we possibly could be.

Kind of vindicates why Saurez left but he gave us the best season we have had for some years. Really pleased for him and for Barcca!

You know you have no place hosting a football program when you get the piss taken out of you by Lee Dixon of all people. Does this guy actually know about football? He's said some dumb sh*t tonight.

You mean Lee Dixon? I used to think he was one of the best commentators on MOTD years ago (although I never found the level of MOTD commentary to be very high)

Sad to see two of our ex players in recent times playing for Barcelona. Not just any players - two absolute bolts in that side, Suarez and Mascherano.

To paraphrase Graham Taylor - do I not F***ing like that!

Pretty good game to watch. Kudos to Juventus for hanging in, really thought that score line flattered them.

Kind of ridiculous the team Barca has assembled.

Sorry mate I wasn't clear with that one, I meant the main host think he's called Mark Pougatch. He replaced Adrian Chiles.

I like Pougatch. Maybe it's a nostalgic attachment to listening to the radio in my room religiously on Saturday afternoons years back but I've always found him to be a professional broadcaster. Makes a change from the 'Awright mukka'/pally relationships between presenter and pundit that passes off as football coverage these days.

Speaking of which, has anyone seen that Budweiser advert where Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp and that other bloke from Sky? Yeah the one where they are reviewing some amateur football goal that was recorded on an iphone? Christ that is cringey. Don't know who I feel more embarrassed for - the pundits on the advert or the sad bas**rds who filmed and sent their videos in like some remedial Blue Peter competition.
