      Ideas for the new stadium
      Sep 14, 2012 03:18:26 am
I believe a good idea is to have either a Wembley type arch with 96 automatically lighting candles/lights that can be lit before every single game to show everlasting respect to those who lost their life supporting the club.

Another idea is a retractable roof with the flames and the words 'You'll Never Walk Alone' above and 'Always Remembered, Never Forgotten' below so when air views of the stadium are taken the message is loud and clear.

A box shaped square type stadium with a unique feel would be quite good with a glass roof. A large tier like the Kop is definitely a must.

Good thread - especailly if someone at the club look at it...

First off - Bigger Kop... Something that is like no other in the world. Cannot stress this enough!

A Yawkee walk esk area outside the stadium. Bars, merch stalls and the such where crowds can gather hours before kickoff to build the atmosphere. This would bring the whold day out mantra back that happened years ago when the ground was packed hours before the game!

History repeated. New staduim or revamp lets keep the old touches. This is Anfield, Red Nets - and of course the memorials and gate!

We've all seen the shed that HCS did up, I'm sure he can soon knock together a stadium.

Brendan might find it hard  to sit down with a pair of decks in the dug out. That said, the tempo of the game might be improved given the fact the tannoy system will probably be banging hardcore drum & bass out for 90 minutes. Throw in the fact that 300bpm might give the old soak a heart attack on Sunday then I'm in.

I'd love to have a full standing Kop back and relive the proper atmosphere, 20,000 strong with a seated Areas above it, get back the days where you swayed to and fro and sung your heart out and left you with a rasping throat for days, would have to have loads of bogs to. Don't fancy pissing thru a rolled up paper again. Ah, the memories of the good 'ol' days

Could five or ten thousand standing area be possible if the back could be extended even seating only just make it bigger .
