Divock Origi (Lille)

I'm pretty chuffed with this one, have watched a bit of tape since the World Cup and he has the potential to be a real star. He's quick, has great feet, big strong lad who is decent in the air and appears to have the deft touch and subtlety that you don't always see in players with his frame.

Part of me wishes he wasn't going out on loan for a season but then again I can see the massive benefits in letting him get as much experience as possible over the coming 12 months before arriving at Anfield.

Looks like they're in the Champions League, assuming they make it through qualifying. Don't know if the deal includes him playing against us though.

It's usually taken for granted I thought, like an automatic addition to his contract.

I think he'll be better than Lukaku. This kid has got some skills. Maybe he'll get a run out in a end of the season friendly. Can't wait to see him in a Red shirt. Let's hope he stays fit at Lille.

Doesn't matter what we put in the deal. UEFA says any clause prohibiting loaned players playing against their parent clubs can't stand in european competitions (see Courtois). They're in the playoffs, I'd F***ing love it an Origi goal knocked arsenal out.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Origi will complete a £12.5m move to LFC in the next few days after choosing the Reds ahead of Arsenal, Spurs and Atletico Madrid.
