Superb last night, did brilliantly for the equaliser with the powerful header down for Mane. Shame the rest of our corners were sh*te.

Yeah pretty much from what I'm trying to recall, the corner for the goal was spot on because it was played right towards the penalty spot, the rest were down the keepers throat and easy to deal with.

Great game Dejan, hold your head up lad.

Good on him for Saturday, played very well.

Our much commented on back four have done pretty well since Virgil arrived and non more so than Dejan.
I think Matip and Klavan are also good back up so we can concentrate on spending money where its needed

Was absolutely awful at the start of the season was Dejan and looked beyond help. But he's had one hell of a turnaround. Well done Dejan - he's certainly a stronger man than I and many others ever thought he was.

Lovern is a MAN. He handled his mess like a man when it got rough. I was for sure he would cave when VVD brought competition in for one of the spots. However, I was wrong. Dejan fell right in and allowed the new guy to lead. He also embraced competition for the other spot and played DAMN good football down the stretch. One of the better players the last month

Lovren was always a good player but he lacks the mentality of a leader so is always liable to cave under big pressure. However the calmness and leadership of VVD next to him has brought the very best out of Dejan which I expect to continue in to next season.

This is basically our 1st pair next year and i am OK with that. Matip as backup is a very good option to have.

Lovren has his moments of lunacy, like the goal Dzeko scored at Anfield, but overall he has been rock solid once Van Dijk came in. I have no issues going with those 2 as our starting CBs next season.

I don't know why people seem to be so against finding another CB? I'd try to find one BETTER than Lovren (shouldn't be that hard) bring him in to pair with Virgil and then you've got sufficient cover in Lovren and Matip. That's how you build a squad that's got the depth to deal with injuries and multiple competitions.

I'm all for bringing in another CB but I see no reason to break up the VVD Lovren partnership which has looked a world class pairing for a few game now.

If Klopp is not going to buy a forward because he wants Brewster on the team, then we can upgrade on Lovren, but CB should not be a priority over getting better quality depth up front. Our defense for the most part was very good last season, particularly the 2nd half.

And if you get another CB then one of Lovren or Matip will have to go because i don't expect either one to want to hang around as 4th CB option, then you have to find time for Gomez and Klavan. That's just too many.

I don't know that I agree they (Lovren) look world class. Lovren to me still always appears to have a mistake ready to surface (much like a lot of the "Karius out" crew feel about him). But I would concede he's looked better since the arrival of VVD. Still would like to see us get hold of someone even better to put with VVD, especially if we are going to persist with Karius.

I don't mean Lovren is world class individually I mean as a pairing they compliment each other so well it's a brilliant partnership which I would be very reluctant to split up. Just becusue a CB might be an overall better individual player than Lovren it doesn't automatically mean he will compliment and gel with VVD.
