Not sure this proves anything mate, why would anyone dwell on a mistake by an opponent’s player. It’s not as if the error was catastrophic, he just hesitated for some reason and Aguero picked his pocket.

Listen, if people are saying he is 3rd/4th choice centre back, then I agree we are not going to get much better. When you self proclaim that you are one of the best defenders in the world, however, you leave yourself open to ridicule when you make basic mistakes.

Rafa used to say all goals come from a mistake so in 21 games we have made 9 mistakes. Dejan isn't a very attractive players he isn't like Virgil who glides across the pitch and reads the game so well he is a full on old fashioned get stuck in defender.
Despite what some say I cant recall anyone who say he is the best CB we have ever seen we are saying lets be realistic about our current position and not try and destroy his confidence as he is vitally important to us and playing Milner or Fab alongside Virgil isn't going to work is it.
I think Aguero is the type of player he struggles with he is small quick and strong too. His biggest problem is not his technical abilitiy its his ability to read the game and sniff our trouble leaving Aguero on the floor and then losing him cost us his momentary lapse was heavily punished by probably the only player who could.

Im all for it if they back it up, he never. Thats my issue with him. Claims things like that but when pressure is on he turns into Nicky Tanner.

Look at the lad beside him, as far as i know hes made no claims but week in week out SHOWS hes most likely the best in the world.

Watched that game back today have to say thought he had a very poor game not my favourite cb to be honest hope Joe is fit sooner rather than later

Yes he has had better games and a hell of a lot worse.
Think it was a case of Aguero and other being bloody good.
We lost because city were the better team and we didn’t match them thoroughly enough in all areas.

The type of comments Lovren made are bound to come back and haunt you, when things go wrong. He simply would have been better off keeping his mouth shut, especially the first comment.
