I suppose it's too late to keep this lad this season.....

What? What are you worried about?

Scored the winner from the penalty spot tonight but came off injured towards the end which is a shame. Hopefully it won't keep him out for long.

Think he and Sturridge could be a force next year. He looked great in that video. Hopefully he can continue to have a great season and bag some goals.

Had a better World Cup than Lukaku. Went for less than half the price, although there is the small matter of him not playing for LFC yet.

      Looks potentially very good.
one issue is his close control when moving at speed....bit loose....but that can be coached out of him
Glad he has a season to prepare and develop before coming to LFC

Sturridge has a bit of that problem, too, but as of late the defenders back off of him so he doesn't fly by them, giving him more room to make mistakes.

Sort of like that goal Suarez scored at Stoke last season, when Sturridge had the assist, watch from the 4:01 mark:

      Luis Suarez vs Stoke 13-14 (A) 12/1/14 720p HD

You can see a few times on that run how his touch puts the ball about a yard too far in front of him, if a defender had been closer they could have knocked it easily out, but they give him space to make sure he stays in front of him.

So if Sturridge can get away with it I'm sure Origi can as well.   After all not everyone has the ball stick to their feet like glue like with Coutinho.   ;D

Watching the Lille vs Porto game and he looks to favour the left side a lot. Seems every time his on the ball you expect him to make something happen, he flicked the ball brilliantly over a defender then put in a good ball.

      Hope he gets a goal.

EDIT - His been taken off in the 70th minute, good showing his sharp on the turn, he had the ball at his feet back to a player sharp turn and flick of the ball and he was away.

Cheers for that do there's some potential there but we already knew that from seeing him at the World Cup.

No worries, to be honest i didn't see him much at the WC. But he looks menacing to say the least he seems capable of wing play as much as he is capable of scoring goals. Wonder what position Rodgers see's him in.

Probably a mixture of both winger and striker initially with a long term view of turning him into a prolific striker.

A fluid, pacey front 3, all interchanging and causing havoc, with Sterling, Sturridge and Markovic, and maybe Balotelli rotating :D

Looks a terrific young prospect. Really takented and exciting with a good physicality too. But he's only recently become a regular for a little club like Lille.
Not exactly gonna be the trusted spearhead of our attack for some time... Atleast 1 yr before he even kicks a ball for us, and some time after that to even just settle in at Anfield.

Anyone know how hes getting on? Noticed he wasnt on the team sheet and or bench last night. Hes only scored 2 correct and 1 was a pen? Hoping he adds more goals to his game - without actually having any basis other than results watching I may add.

Jesus Suarez was a nightmare in that game. Parts hes having a howler, in part genius but noticeably involved in everything. His work rate was/is amazing.
