What like Bobby's lame effort or Salah's couple of easy saves?

Have I defended those attempts anywhere that im unaware of?

Yep how he fluffed that when he had another chance to make himself a Hero.

Linesman never flagged so it would have counted and meant so much to us, but he poked at it when all he had to do was put his foot through it either side of the keeper.

Would have been a tragedy for West Ham but I don't give a F**k about them. Would have taken the win and all the critics talking their bullshit if it had gone in, for those extra 2 points.

What’s the point of this lad? I know being thrown into a high intensity contest against one of the best teams in Europe can be tough to adjust to but he looked like such a wast of space and sub.

Reminded me of those little toy wind up dogs who take of for ten seconds in a straight line and stop.

Surprised no one talking about his performance last night, thought he was excellent and offered something different to our normal front 3.

The goal he took was Henry Esq! Maybe there is a future as maybe 5th choice striker??

Gave him a special shout out in the match thread.

His performance didn't go unnoticed by me. Although he wasn't as effective as Salah going forward he most definitely put a shift in pressing, great performance.

He took his goal well, he loves scoring them doesn't he, running inside and having a go, whenever divock plays a run of games he usually ends up scoring sooner or later, I'd keep him as a 5th/6th striker but definitely think we need someone a level above him next season.

I honestly think this lad just needs a run of games, or more games than he has now, and he could be useful for us, you can see there is a good talent in there bursting to come out, the goal was very nicely taken.

Was an upgrade on Firmino last night. Great performance. Just what some of us have been calling out for.

      More game time needed.

Careful what you say about Bobby on here or risk getting lynched.

      Definitely not like for like.

But swapping positions of Mane for Bobby and Origi for Mane did bring a lot more pace and intensity in our attack.

Obviously Bobby is a better player but I feel he is dropping too deep at times this season slowing down our attack.

More like an upgrade on the other striking bench option - Sturridge.

What I liked about his performance wasn't just the goal but the way he slotted in. Not as effective as the other front two of course but he slipped in effortlessly to the way we play. Direct running when he could, pressed well and very disciplined in helping out Robertson when needed. In terms of the overall team, he's a much better option than Sturridge.

And you can never have 11 great players waiting in the wings to replace the first 11 so maybe someone like Divock who can slot in and put in a solid shift could be worth holding on to.

He is in literally no way an upgrade on Firmino. He did well but for you to sit there and act like you know who the better player is, that's a bit comical. If you offer Origi or Firmino to any team in the entire world, not one would take Origi.

The only reason Origi would need more game time is so that he can have a good showing for us to sell him this summer.

Correct, no way hes anywhere near Bobby.

Origi was decent last night, he at least puts a shift in, and has some pace, and importantly is a goal threat. He is probably ahead of Studger now as backup Striker.

Depends on how fit Bobby is, might be case to start Origi and bring Bobby on later.

Klopp might think same team, hard to argue with changing a team after a 5-0 win.

Yes, unfortunately (for Danny) I think Origi moves to the top spot on the bench.

I would play him against blueshit because he will instill fear into their keeper :P He deserves it, he grabbed his chance brilliantly.

Streaky player, is we can get 3 goals in 3 games out of him that would be very useful. Long term no match for Firmino but for Everton away if he isn't fully fit then perhaps 1 more game for him.

Well even though he doesn’t have a future with us, it’s clear he has now gone ahead of Sturridge in the pecking order. Think he was in and out of the game yesterday but I think the thing that stood out most for me was that he tracked all the way back and put in a tackle deep in our own half. Not a chance Sturridge would have put that level of effort in.

It’s good to see that a player who knows he has no future with us is keeping his head down, his mouth shut and putting the effort in.
