If we had spent 30-40 mil on someone last summer who came in and done that for us against Everton, against Newcastle, against Barca and in the Champions League final it would be hailed as a stroke of genius. From the wilderness to struggling at Wolfsburg to that. Well in Divock!

He deserves to be here, now depends if he is willing to wait for his chance again.

Got on with his job all season, and reaped the rewards, never moaned, proper squad player, has earned all the plaudits coming his way.

What a contribution! Definitely due a massive reward! Get in Origi son.

Made an instant impact when he replaced Firmino. Scored another great goal to seal our win. Now to build on it next season..

Pirlo saying he was awful when he came on and his attitude was awful and would have deserved a kicking had it not been for the goal. Get to f**k! Obviously still bitter about 2005.

Well in Div! Played his part just as much as Virgil, Alisson, Salah and everyone else in our success this season.

What a F***ing c**t. Didn't expect that from Pirlo tbh.

Hope he's happy with a squad player role here but can't blame him one bit if he wants to leave for more regular football.

Mate he’s always spoke sh*t. Comes across as a right arrogant pr**k in my opinion who suddenly got a massive hype surge from all those hipsters wanting his F***ing beard and it being ‘cool’ to sing his praises.

Big Div has gone down in history this year.

Brilliant strike, who has scored some vital goals for us this season. A great squad player to my mind.

This dude is exactly the kind of player / person I hope my kids look up to. The dude could've quit and counted his losses and moved on. In all intents and purposes we kind of quit on him when we tried to sell him, thank God he didn't quit on us. The dude worked hard to bided his time, and made the most of his opportunity. Now he's a cult icon in our club and a man who will undoubtedly have his own song chanted at Anfield long after he's gone.

When things get tough, the tough get going. Divock Origi, thank you!!!!!!

He is still a kid and akid who under Jürgen is improving its all up to him now but scoring a winner in a CL final isn't a bad thing is it.

If we lost him for nothing I wouldn't care a jot. Those two goals in the semi at Anfield and the all important second goal in Madrid is everything we could have ever dreamed of from any player. That it came from a player as unlikely and unfancied as Divock only makes his glory and value all the more richer.

Better strikers have come and gone through this club like Torres and Suarez but they could only dream of the legendary status at Liverpool that Divock has ascended to in recent weeks.
