If we lost him for nothing I wouldn't care a jot. Those two goals in the semi at Anfield and the all important second goal in Madrid is everything we could have ever dreamed of from any player. That it came from a player as unlikely and unfancied as Divock only makes his glory and value all the more richer.

Better strikers have come and gone through this club like Torres and Suarez but they could only dream of the legendary status at Liverpool that Divock has ascended to in recent weeks.
Absolutely bang on,those goals will live long in many a reds memory including mine and I’ll include that cheeky little winner he scored against the sh*te in the derby too.

I remember saying after that goal vs Everton that he had already earned a cult hero status for me, and that I'd always think fondly of him for that. But then he scored 2 in the second greatest LFC match I've seen in my lifetime and then 1 more in the final. Legend.

young enough and still improving as a player and now an all time legend for what he did with limited appearances this season.

You can add the late winner against Newcastle at end of the season to that, as well!

Totally agree. He was an important asset and still could be if wants to be an back-up option.

His celebrations are so low key considering how big the goals are.

Divoc Origi will be a genuine contender to be called a Liverpool Legend when his playing days are over. The important goals he scored this season are enough to qualify him for Legend status.

Looks like Divock could be leaving for regular football.

If true then good luck to him he's served this club well as a squad player and is good enough to be a regular starter at another club.

He's value must gave doubled since this time last year so we'd be looking for £30 plus million at least which will price most clubs out anyway.

Looks like Divock has been offered a new contract and is expected to decide whether to sign upon returning from holiday. I hope he stays.

Same her because he is different from our other forwards and he is definitely improving with age ...I hope he stays with us and he gets a contract that reflects how we value him

Been rewarded with a contract extension. Well done Origi!

Good for both parties here. We need to retain that depth, especially whilst it is quiet on the acquisition side of things.

Legendary goals from the big man. Hoping for some more big winners!!

      Well in lad.

Plenty more to come from him if he continues to work hard, and listens to the boss.

a really good signing because to replace him would cost far more than we could sell him for. A player with a future and a player who has improved so much this season. He could retire now and live of those winning goals last season and two against Barca and the winner in the final is something to be rightly proud of

I’m glad he has signed but still have reservations about him, not sure how confident I would’ve if had to be outnumber 9 for an extended period of time

Good for Divock but I’m not convinced he is a good enough replacement for the usual front 3 if one of them is injured for a sustained period.

He is a out and out number 9 and definitely will never fit Klopps system as a false 9 who presses the way Bob does. But, at this point he is our king of the poachers goal and he seems content to play a role. As we saw last season, he can be a VITAL part of this team.

Probably the next kit I get will have Origi on it. Love this man
