Said the same in the match thread, but as usual most people can't stand reality. No reason why he shouldn't start again vs Utd anyway..

;D, well apart from the fact he has zero end product and zero link up play, but yeah let's reward mediocrity.

Hmm, I think those two have just a tiny bit more credit in the bank ;-)

Having said that I'd definitely drop Bobby for a few games based on current form.

Surely it's the end of the road for Divock? This talk of him staying has got me worried

Just read on The Athletic that he is staying. Surprising.

Probably means no new attacker coming in

The time to seel Origi was a couple of seasons back.

He's been so underwhelming last season or so that he'll be hard to shift for the money we'd want for him.

So, sell him right after his goals vs. Barca and Spurs in the Champions League?

Seems fair enough. I mean it was never ever going to get better for him was it?

And yet I still back him to find a resurgence at Liverpool. Don't know why. I suppose it's because we've been here with Origi before, specifically in the months (couple of years even) before he put egg on Pickford's face.

Need to be more ruthless with some players think we are holding onto some far too long and not just Origi

We surely can't rely on his as our second choice striker can we? He's a nice guy and a very popular face in the team but he needs a Newcastle or Watford where he'll get regular time to play through his form. Bad call by those in charge if we keep him and he's our number two up front

Big man needs to leave for his own footballing career, or maybe he is happy to stick around till he goes on a free, then his next deal is a big wages deal.?

Thing is, if he doesn't play he won't be able to negotiate a big wages deal.

Even if he's only after the money (which I don't think he is), he must realize it's better for him to leave as his value keeps decreasing if he doesn't play.

      Possibly yes.

But most clubs are happy enough to get guys on free now, so they can pay good wages, so it works both ways, even if they havnt been playing week in week out.
