The 'as it stands right now' starting 11

It's getting more and more difficult to pick our 'best 11' and its been a very long time since we had this sort of problem.

Very strong group of players we have right now which is only going to get stronger once Jürgen adds the ones he wants in the coming windows.

Would be my preferred formation at the moment, very close call between Lallana and Milner, if Benteke is starting instead of Sturridge then I'd definitely swap Milner in there for Lallana.

Think I'd agree with that as our best 11 right now. It'd take a lot of discipline from that midfield to not get bossed over though. Would be a very strong pressing lineup though, really can see Klopp's vision start to take place with Mane and Wijnaldum in there.

I don't think there's any such thing anymore, it'll be a regular starting 15/16 depending on the opposition.

What I do know though is there'll be no easy ride for anyone. 

No hiding, no slacking just full throttle, heavy metal football and we'll catch our breath next May!

I am leaving my space for Messi. I still think we might have one more surprise before the market closes but I cant help but think we have a much stronger squad to start the season both with the new signings and with the old squad having a full pre season with Klopp.

I don't think you can overstate that last part Walt.

They will have worked like they never have before.

Still think we will need an enforcer in the middle. The likes of Cou, Firminho and Wijnaldum will be fine if its a football contest but when it turns tasty and physical and mark my words it will our plan B will need to be turned to and not sure we have many winners when chips are down and backs against wall.

Agree completely. But with them or without them, it's good to see we aren't stretched for players in midfield. Be interesting to see what happens to Hendo, personally can see a change of captain happening sooner rather than later because it's hard to fit Hendo into our starting 11 at this stage IMO, hard to even find room for him on the bench.

Can't see hendo getting a starting place myself. I think Emre Can is a good shout for captain
