Fair play to Everton, showed the rest of the league how to play against this new United style.

All you need to do is play with high intensity and keep harassing them to stifle their slow build up play. Something we did so well last season but seem to have abandoned this season.

Yeah that and get after Fellaini to stop him having an influence. McCarthy and Barry were around him constantly in the first half.

I don't think you need a tactical masterclass to beat this United side, just goes to show you how poorly we were set up against United and how poorly the players on the pitch performed.

Can't see us beating Hull the way we're playing. Don't know where the goals are going to come from.

£120 million spent in the Summer and not a single goal scorer to show for it.

What does that say about our performance against Utd then?

They maybe sh*te, but they were better than us.

I know what you're saying, what I meant was instead of giving the Bitters credit give the Scum some sh*t!

According to Southampton's executive director, Les Reed, they are targeting Champions League football within the next 5 years :D

I wouldn't laugh it off mate. They were expected to be battling at the bottom after selling half their team in the summer but instead they were in the top 3 for ages and spent most the season above us.

Not if they keep selling their best players they won't. But they have as much a chance of challenging for CL football as we have for the foreseeable future.

Thank goodness for Newcastle. There's a team worse than us in the league right now!

But Ayoze Perez looks a little gem.

      2-0 Leicester. Another set piece.

If Sunderland win their game in hand Newcastle are only 3 points off the drop and a worse goal difference than any other side between themselves and 18th.

Still not giving up on top 4, there's a slight glimmer of hope.

Berahino needs to play a blinder and play for a move :D Rodgers should be on the phone to him and tell him he'll 100% sign him if we get into CL ;)
