Does anyone know why Coutinho ran to and hugged Alberto after his free kick goal the other day?  It (the embrace) seemed intentional by Philippe....

It's obvious, Coutinho is taking a sly dig at Klopp with his show of support for Moreno!!!

I think that Klopp will buy a new LB and will keep Milner as back-up because Milner will not play much in the midfield area.

I would offer RB Leipzig a straight swap for Keita. They saw what Moreno can do against their Bundesliga rival  :)

More of this and we may need to keep him.

Seems to have learned or maybe it's finally clicked to do the simple things when defending and isn't flying in as rash as he used to.

Never had a problem with how he played going forward, was always the worry about his defensive game. Play like he did tonight, he'll have given another option for Klopp to decide on.

Say it quietly but he actually looked in control of what he's doing. Really want to see him again tomorrow, basically because I can't believe he can turn in two performances like that.

      Well impressed.

      Well done Alby.

Got a feeling Robertson will start tomorrow, with Moreno playing a full 90 tonight.

      Fair point that HR.

Will be a bit of a tough juggling act for Jürgen that one, not often do you ever play two proper games back-to-back.

With regards Moreno, my only real thought was that I'm looking forward to seeing him play again in an LFC shirt and I can't say I've felt like that for a very long time and the lad gets all credit for that.

While I think TAA shaded him overall, Alberto was definitely a contender for MotM. Loved it.

Agree totally, as said bit further up, seems to have cut out the constant flying into challenges then get exposed as players go flying past him, did the simple things like clearing into touch rather than always trying to play out of trouble.

I know one game doesn't make a Liverpool career, but carry on like that and he'll definitely get the crowd back onside.

Moreno has been wretched and absolutely useless for three straight seasons.  Then he suddenly has one match where he's half decent and it's all forgotten.

And they say we have the most intelligent supporters around.... ha.

He's useless as a footballer.  But to be honest, I would keep him around if for no other reason than the fact that he appears to be best mates with Coutinho.  We already got rid of Lucas, if we kicked Moreno to the curb Coutinho will have lost two good mates in a matter of weeks.  With Barca calling that isn't exactly a wise decision.

Can't say I disagree with any of that.

BUT... we have a lot of football to play this season and if he has really improved even slightly he may come in useful for cup games.

If he continues this form his stock will also rise if or when we sell him.
