Loved how he had just killed off any hope Spurs might have had and then celebrated as though he had just won us the game.

If Bale scored that you wouldn't hear the end of it for weeks, absolutely sensational goal.

      Boss celebration as well.

Compare him to Johnson and the difference is simply embarrassing on Johnson's behalf. Moreno sprints all the way back and then puts in an excellently timed tackle or block where as Johnson just casually walks back.

Breath of fresh air having Moreno and Manquillo.

Moreno getting a lot of plaudits as MOTM and rightly so but not sure what he was doing so high up the pitch when they scored and we are 1-0 up.

Playing as the manager likes his full backs to play is how I'd see that.

This has been mentioned a few times and it's probably fair that it was bad decision but to weight much of the blame on this is completely unfair. Look at Lucas and Gerrard, they're completely taken out of the game by a pass into their position, they were too far up also but even at that point we have enough cover.

I personally have not too many problems with Moreno being up there, if you sit back you also invite pressure, sometimes the safest way to defend is have the ball in their half and if we do manage to get the 2nd then it's game over too.

It's Migs decision and positioning that is 100% wrong and has to carry 75% of the blame for that goal, stay back and it's most likely nothing comes of that. Lucas or Gerrard, more likely Gerrard should be sitting deeper at that stage, he should carry some of the stick for that too. Lovren of course could do better but think he's getting a lot of unwarranted stick, had Migs stayed where he should have then we'd have an attacker running away from goal with no support heading out of the box with the ball.

Not fair to pin blame on him for the goal. The way they had so much space in the midfield and then passed it straight through Sakho's legs was just embarrassing and what the hell Migs was doing I don't know. He was high up the pitch but he more than makes up for it by the fact he probably saved us a goal when he sprinted back and put in a quality tackle when it seemed as though they would score.

Lovren of course could do better but think he's getting a lot of unwarranted stick, had Migs stayed where he should have then we'd have an attacker running away from goal with no support heading out of the box with the ball.

Agree, the fact Lovren even went for the challenge was due to the fact Migs was coming so far out his goal, I think he'd have maybe stayed on his feet and tried to force him out wide otherwise.

Not the first time Migs has been guilty of this, same thing happened when Aguero scored against us this season.

He did make that superb tackle, and then ran upfield and put in the cross for Balotelli to score.

And if Raheem releases him he is in miles of space instead of us conceding. I think he shouldn't be making those runs but it could of been very different.

He looks amazing. Keep it up, Alberto.

What a brilliant bit of business for this lads services. All of the fu*king around over summer with his transfer really does pale into insignificance now that we can actually see his talent and potential being displayed.

And Christ is he quick! There was an occasion in the game when he turned on the after-burners, the pitch side camera operator couldn't track him and they had to switch (rapidly) to one of the roof cameras.

I would have paid 20M for him too. Better than Shaw at less than half the price.

In my weird round about way of thinking he reminds me of John Arne Riise only he's traded a rocket of a left foot for lightning pace... Does that make any sense

The funny thing was with that goal, they say that Andros Townsend is "quick". F*ck me Alberto left him for dead, AND he had the ball!
