      Welcome to the Club Alberto.

I was reading something about him the other day, about him being in the Spain under 21's and he was talking about his teammates. I knew that he was best buds/mates with Luis Alberto but I didn't realize that he already knew Suso and Manquillo too. He should settle quick because of that I would think . Makes perfect sense why BR wanted Moreno and Manquillo now. The man always has a plan.

I haven't seen much of Alberto Benito; what do you reckon he'll bring that we've been missing?

I know this weren't aimed at me but, I think he will show us we've been missing ...

A real attacking threat imo. Enrique was strong defensively, but his final ball wasn't always great, think Moreno is more composed in the attacking half.

Like I say I haven't seen anywhere near enough to know V so I'll bow down to your knowledge on the lad. I have seen Enrique tho' and you are right he's pretty strong defensively.

However what we tend to forget (down to his prolonged absence last season maybe?) is: Enrique had a pretty high 'return' under Brendan - 2 goals and 8 assists in 2861 minutes.

If Alberto can show us what we've been missing ["A real attacking threat"] by improving on that I'll be one happy bunny and he'll certainly do for me. I can't wait now - thanks for the info mate.

If we sign Balotelli I think we will see less of three up front but more of 4-4-2 diamond that means both fbs are very important provide wide attacking, and Moreno seem suit his role perfectly.
Whereas his defensive side is what we have to wait and see.

Anyway welcome to the club Alberto.

Aha don't bow down to my knowledge it may be incorrect aha. But from several videos I have seen and words of friends who watch la liga frequently, it leads me to believe that he will be composed up top and will be good enough to give us an attacking threat of his own.

Saw a lot of positives, doesn't half shy away from a tackle (Zabaleta going through, he went flying in from the back a little rashly) and gets forward well. He will be a beats once he has settled.

Made a brilliant tackle against Dzeko, read the situation perfectly and had to cut across the field to intercept, some would have just stayed with the player in the middle and allowed time for Dzeko to get a shot off.

The lapse was to be expected when it was his first PL game and it's why I didn't expect Rodgers to drop him in againsta team like City. Other than that he was one of our better players and there was enough there to show that he will be a significant upgrade on out other full-backs.

I thought he looked like a superb player, considering it was his FIRST Prem game against City away. Lots of pace, good passer, great tackler and good game intelligence.

My MOTM today. Was a beast down that left. Gave Spurs nothing defensively and offered us so much width.

      Plus scored a nice goal.

What a performance by this young man. Both in attack and defence he was always there and available, made all the more impressive after his mistake and injury last week. Could have hid by declaring himself unfit, could have hid in the game, did neither, stood up and was counted.

      Brilliant Alberto, well in fella!
