jeez, I thought that about pretty much everyone in our squad EXCEPT mario. wasn't he fighting for us in europe, in the rare moments he was given a shot? his fight made everyone else look like the F***ing England team. honestly that's what we looked like all season. BR just failed badly with Balotelli, another one to the list of fails by us and our manager and our club. blaming the player is F***ing weak, trash for small clubs to whine about. look at the real problem it's clearly us.

this. balotelli is one of our most talented players and not even the most stubborn senile c**t could argue against that. he is dripping in talent that half of our squad can't even dream up in their heads.  the manager freezes out our talent and we make excuses for him like f**king babies. and it's the older generation making all the excuses for the club - you have moulded a brilliant philosophy that features hard work and accountability so show us who is really accountable and stop making excuses for the club you love. stop picking on the young kid you daily mail absorbers! get your heads out of the guttertrash!

to be fair i think if he is partnered up front with a willing runner it would work the only time it looked good was the spurs game with him sturridge and Rentboy(Sterling) all linking up well. we could use Origi now instead of Sterling and Ings instead of sturridge(till fit) and play them as a front 3 I think it would work bit of pace,power combo.

Marios adoptive Father passed away last night after a long illness.  Mario has been with his family for several weeks and was at his fathers side when he passed.

Sorry to hear! We saw at the Euros a few years back how much Mario's parents are to him.

Sorry to hear of the recent loss of Mario's adoptive father.

Must say I was surprised and impressed to see Mario back in training so soon wearing boots bearing his fathers name.

Maybe this loss will mature him more and give him some perspective.

I have given him a tonne of sh*t the past season, most of it was deserved, but something tells me he knows he massively underachieved the past year and wants to make amends both for himself and the fans. I think a focused Mario with a point to prove could actually be a valuable asset this season. I would be willing to give him until January to redeem himself.

It´s some bizarre stuff and lets you know why so many people (myself included) hate him.To want a guy that has been criticized by 3 different managers and 2 captains (and not just any captains,gentlemen like Javier Zanetti and Steven Gerrard) to play for your team is not caring much about your club´s reputation.To still want him to play after the season he had is sheer madness.
