Sounds like Arsenal getting Welbeck for £16m. I actually think that's a good buy for Arsenal, they were desperate for someone up front and while he's not a brilliant option they at least have an option now.

With them not signing someone I thought perhaps Wenger was thinking of converting someone else to be a striker as Sonogo is bloody awful at the moment.

So while it's not signing of the summer I do think Arsenal will get a lot more points with Welbeck than without.

Don't blame the players. I'd require a lot of money to move if I didn't want to. Contracts work both ways. In a years time Borini won't struggle to move to sunderland or QPR if he wants to. He is backing himself for another year. We may not think he is being realistic, but he is perfectly entitled to, and I'm personally happy to have that 4th striker.

They can submit a terms paper which states the personal details have been agreed etc that they're just waiting on medical results. So basically everything is submit subject to the medical. I think..
