Haven't ever seen a penalty shootout with such a high score. Some sublime penalties taken from both sides.

I gave it to Mignolet but he let it slip from his grasp

Yip Lallana was good he's staring to come into his own quality player

its hard to know how to rate that. I liked the young lads Rossiter and Williams looked good. Suso just needs to play games etc. A win is a win.

Well at least we practice something along with football tennis.

The minutes will have done a good few of them some good out there tonight, particularly Lallana and Enrique. Suso showed why he should be ahead of the Markovic in the pecking order. Great first start for young Rossiter and another cracking performance form Raheem right up until he started giving and missing pennos!

Surely Mignolet has to sort this out though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a prem keeper should be saving more than 1 out of 13?

Both keepers just whacked them, was funny.

Loved Lucas trying to encourage Migs, selfless as ever. Thought Migs was really feeling the pressure, had to expect himself to save one at the end there.

A lot of them penalties were unstoppable and right in the corner/roof of the net. He came close on a few but they had too much power on them.
