Find it ridiculous that Markovic is starting ahead of Lallana, he hasn't done anything worthy of being in the squad, let alone the starting 11.

Shame Lallana isn't starting, was our best player against Middlesborough and Everton. Makes no sense to me tbh.

It is more important he starts on saturday. That is why he is not starting in my opinion.

Yesterday I would have snatched your hand off if offered a draw, but the excitements kicked in now and I wanna see us go out there and grab all three points!

3-1, Sterling, Balotelli and Markovic all to score.

Don't know if it is just me (expect so), but I once again find my self questioning BR's selection, why Markovic is starting ahead of Lallana is beyond me given that the former has shown aboslutely nothing as of yet where are the latter is looking better with each passing game. Also where the hell is Suso, once again being completely overlooked where as no doubt Lambert will come on for the last 5or 10mins.

Oh well, come on REDS! lets get back to winning ways and put a good shift in. Might I even say let's stretch so far as keeping a clean sheet too.

Still coming back from injury, he may need a rest, although I expect to see him around the 60 minute mark.

Strange as it may sound, Markovic has more experience in European games as well.

Do agree, yet BR was happy to start him straight away when he returned. I don't know, it's probably just me but I really can't help but be disappointed with some of the selections in recent games.

Looking at the team sheet, I'm hoping against hope that it's a 4-3-3 (giving Coutinho more to 'aim' at) but I just know it's a 4-2-3-1 we're looking at.

Still... maybe keeping it tight is the order of the day.

Think it is indeed a 4-4-3

Balotelli started well, Coutinho started like he's got lead boots on.

Whilst trying to win A game at the moment let alone every game.

Here's hoping we get back to winning ways in style tonight though and provide ourselves with a good springboard.

Not a great pass by Balotelli but Coutinho made no attempt to even move towards the ball then.
