i don't know if you agree with me here, but i'll rather have the old crazy mario balotelli than this version of him, i'll rather see him bang 6-7 goals and get a stupid red or throw darts at our youth players, than see the now matured mario doing fuckall on the pitch, i hope to see that spark in him that made us fancy him

You'd have no idea which team was playing the Championship and which team came second in the Premier League last season.

We are utter crap and Balotelli is just pointless.

Tempted to just put Raheem up front, drop Can for Coutinho and have him playing a front trio with Raheem and Lallana.

As long as we make Madrid look like QPR on Wedneday night I'll be happy!

The QPR of today or the one that has been getting battered most weeks.

Migs has actually kept us in this game. Only player that deserves any credit from that dire half.

      This is absolutely horrendous.

Balo and Can off. Borini and Coutinho on.

It was his fault for the second chance they had. Flapping about in Mignolet fashion.

For me Rodgers has to make a statement, drag Balotelli off and tell him in no uncertain terms, he genuinely buys in to the team ethic or he stays on the side lines until he does.

You can see the team spirit being dragged out of every one of our players every time Balotelli takes the selfish option, seriously he's more of a hindrance than help at the moment.

Let's regroup make some changes and try and get some thing from this game.

Drop Stevie back, bring on Allen for Can and Manquillo for Johnson.  Get control of the midfield and start playing the ball to feet instead of launching it to Balo.

With the way we're playing today I'd take 0-0 in Madrid at half time no matter how well Madrid play !

The positive thing about Mario is that he seems to have worked on bending his runs to keep onside, however, the problem is we aren't really supplying great passes to him either.

I agree on his decision making though; piss poor on almost every occasion today. There's a lot of talk of him needing a striking partner but surely he'll have the same judgement anyway?

If I was Brendan, I'd give him until 60 mins and if there's no improvement then I'd bring on Borini.

There's been some pretty poor defending at times too today so Ballotelli isn't to blame for everything. Mignolet nearly cost us a goal with his decision making again.

I'm not going to respond to the rest of your statement but who said we fancied him? He was a last desperate resort.

We need to start playing the ball simpler. Let's not try 30-40 yard passes, shooting from ridiculous angles and just start keeping the ball, making QPR work and trying to create a few angles for us.

Balotelli has been a joke. From Suarez to him as our striker is depressing. Suarez has more movement in 10 minutes than Balotelli has in 10 games. I'd drag Balotelli off and play Borini, just because Borini doesn't F**k up every attack.

Fortunately we cannot play as badly as we did and we are still 0-0 so all it takes is one chance and we could squeeze out a 1-0 win.

Allen and Lambert on, Can and Mario off. Let's stop messing about and win against these wasters. Richard Dunne at the back and we let them off by playing the worst striker in the league against him.

Lambert is no great shakes but he will at least occupy a defender and make selfless runs to make room for others.

Anyway the main problems are the soft sh*te defence and the sluggish style of play that has infested our game this season.

We'll run out winners if and when we wake up.
