I don't care about any super-fan telling me I should support Balotelli. I would support him no matter how bad he was, like I do with Fabio f***in Borini, if he showed any intent. But not even the effort is there, and if he doesn't care, why should I? It's a joke he got to stay the whole game on and I seriously question Brendan's judgement on that one. We were lucky to win, in great part because Balotelli ruins everyt attack he touches. The only way for us to score is simply not getting him involved, like Sterling did for our 2nd goal - Balo was free on the right but Raheem simply ignored him, thankfully.

I'm not defending Balo in any way, shape or form but the Madrid game is probably the type of game where he'll shine.  I'd be disappointed if he doesn't play on Wednesday.

We were sh*te for 75 minutes but if we play like we did after Allen and Cou came on we'll do alright against Madrid.
