I don't think Brendan knows what his best possible 11 is. If he starts Mario as a lone striker again he definitely doesn't know his best 11 or best formation.

Exactly what I was saying this morning. 3 months into the season and he still doesn't know his first 11. Worrying

can see balo getting a run out tonight.  this is a good lower pressure match to get his game going for us. 

As much as a lot of you trash him... and for some parts rightly so... if you look at the later games vs earlier games, he is hustling his arse a lot more and trying to do more things to help the team on the pitch.  In a nutshell, he is putting more effort to improving.  It is not his fault BR bought a square peg for a round hole... balo needs time to change his playstyle.

I'm nervous, not feeling confident at all, but saying that, I'll go for 2-1, Henderson and Lambert

Definitely wouldn't throw a full youth team out there as Swansea are a very good team and they'll want a cup run again. Sigurddson being out for them is very good news for us. I'd definitely bring Jones in as i feel he deserves a chance, if not now, when? Keep same back 4 with Lucas holding role and Allen-Hendo and Coutinho behind Lambert and Borini. Should win this, shame its not on TV

Ah right, that makes sense now mate.

At this point I don't care who plays. I just want us to play well, create good scoring opportunities, and win the game. We have been so disjointed that we have looked sterile in attack lately. This needs to change asap!!

2. This is his first season in the English leage and obviously needs time to adjust
3. He has barely played so far
4. The price tag has nothing to do with him, that was just what we were willing to pay. Fair enough if you question why we paid £20m for him but you can't make it personal against him.
5. He does have something, just give him time to show it (Henderson and Suarez for example...)

I agree but if he was £5mil we would give the lad more of a chance.Its not his fault we have idiots in the role of transfer fees
