      Football Manager 2015
      Oct 23, 2014 05:32:37 pm
      Beta time!

Well the game which kills my social life is almost ready for another year of bugs, glitches and of course deadly accurate coach reports.

I'm liking the new scouting system so far.

Worth taking a look at this before starting a save.

Via early access beta. Some sites haven't sent out their keys yet, though.

Not sure about this "managerial style" thing, attribute points for your abilities and all that. Don't get what difference it actually makes in the game but I'd love to be surprised.

I think scout reports are much better - making the game more difficult I'd say, but more realistic. I like this thing about attribute ranges, not knowing for sure unless you really scout that player extensively.

Just a quick question, what is the transfer budget with Liverpool at the beginning? In previous years (apart from 2014) Liverpool got a shocking budget of like 2-3m.

      15m

Definitely my favourite change. I really like that it's so easy to only see scouted players as I'm one of  these people who feel like pressing a button and having 30,000 players appear in a list that haven't been scouted at all to be "cheaty"

Going abroad for 3 months soon, considering getting this to accompany me, but I haven't bought a FM game since 12. Played 13 briefly and thought it was yet another step back from the pinnacle of the series, which was FM10 and 11 imo.

Anyone who's played the beta able to give me any opinions?

My transfers with LFC so far. And no, you haven't seen it wrong, I did trade Henderson for Ramsey, Wilshere and Campbell.

Arsenal offered me some money for him but instead I made this crazy counter offer which they readily accepted. Very unrealistic I have to say.

They tried to get Hendo off me too but didn't wanna agree to my 40 million and 1 pound offer.

I have the game but i'm waiting for some patches to fix some problems with the match engine and some other things before i'll start my long save ...

Far too many goals scored from crosses and corners :) They will fix this soon. Also some strange transfers, one example posted above.

The gameplay is very annoying but a few good added features in. Layout takes some time to get used to but worth it.

Out of the Carling Cup, but top of my CL group with Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Anderlecht after 3 game and second in the league after 9 games.

Bought Gio Dos Santos and Memphis Depay. Sold Borini, Toure and Johnson.

Goalkeepers are F***ing painful! And i keep conceding some ridiculously unfortunate goals.

I go to sign Valdes for free and he wants 125k and walks away when i don't offer more than 100k. Then less than a week later signs for Nantes for 44k.

I go to sign Ricardo Rodriguez and they want 35m but then he gets unhappy they reject my bids. I go back in for 25m and they reject. One week later they accept 8.5m bids from PSG and another team and he signs for them.

Kids worth 100k i bid 1m for and their club wants 25m for a 16 year old defender in the youth team and won't budge. So many more scenarios like that.

      So crap.

And attacking central midfielders do nothing. Only wingers. And when players dribble they run straight in to defenders.

Guaranteed to have 65% possession and 20+ shots and rarely score twice, if at all. They get one chance and score.

Same old sh*t then by the sounds of it. I remember on 2014 when about 12 shots each game would hit the cross bar, out swinging corners would also find themselves hitting the front of the cross bar which is ridiculous.
