What happened to the Egyptian Messi? Or that Norweigian Messi? Wasn't there that English Messi too? Oh wait, that's Raheem :f_tongueincheek:

Will end up playing for Plymouth or some sh*t team. Very very small percentage of players actually get to Premiere League standard let alone have the talent messi has..

Surly FSG and BR now see that we have an abundance of young talent (see below) and that we now need established 25yr olds who've played in Europe and won things as we need winners in the squad not youth(which we now have)
      Sterling
      Markovich
      Suso
      ibe
      Coutinho
      Sinclaire
      Wisdom
      Flanaghan
all the above good enough to push on and have bright futures if we dont sell them on or let rot in the U21. if after two seasons in the U21 the manager has not given you a game then move them on. once your 21+ you should either be on the bench and playing games in Reserve team to keep match fit or be moved on as we cant keep spending money on the academy to not let them through. Sterling proved he was good enought and i feel next season Ibe, Wisdom and Suso should get more game time. lets hope we dont buy to many players so that our Squad can gel

Over the years we had the new Zidane a few times as well. Ah Bruno.

I would brand my player as the new Cristiano Ronaldo too if I were a sports agent trying to get maximum valuation for my client.

I wouldn't want CR at our club.

Me neither. I also wouldn't want 7 figures in my bank account or Michelle Keegan in my bed. that's just the way I roll :-p

One thing that is going to be a pain is that in a few years every new midfielder will be the new Gerrard. No pressure.
