A blast from the not so long ago past..

As a Liverpool fan, I do not want to entirely dwell on our shortcomings this season. Last season for me and for most Liverpool supporters was something special. Not having won the league was a huge disappointment, but the level of enjoyment we got out from watching our redmen tear apart teams week in and week out was something that you could not take away.

My favorite game of the 2013/14 season had to be the 5-1 thrashing we handed out to Le Arse. The football we played on that very day would be hard to compete with.

Liverpool attacks against Arsenal

Hear ya, mate. This season I find myself looking up a lot of You Tube videos of Liverpool's past, especially of last season's, and it makes me happy.

my favorite from last season definitely would have to be the 5-0 away to Spurs in December.

At that point we hadn't done anything to make people think we could win the title.  We had won a few, lost a few, seemed very much like the season before.

But something changed that day.  That was our big test.  Could we finally win away to our rivals?  We absolutely destroyed them.  The Suarez goal, the Henderson goal, even Flanno scored.  The red card Paulinho got when he stuck his foot into Suarez's chest.  Him getting sent off in the pouring rain.

It was just perfect.  From start to finish.

Didn't go the Arsenal game so I'd go for the Derby. Most dominant performance in a derby probably for a decade if not more.

Last season we played football and it was good football and the players backed one and other and looked like they wanted to win. This season they are playing like a bunch of schoolkids (6 and 7 year old) with no positional sense whatsoever, this applies especially to our defenders. It saddens me to see inept footballers with no sense of pride in our Liverpool jersey getting such big wages.

More threat in the first 45 minutes highlights of that clip, than the 6 home league games put together. Must have been years ago that game mustn't it? Oh wait February 2014 that can't be right can it!
