Everton pissed their group. EVERTON. That group was the Europa leagues 'group of death'  :lmao:

Roma aside, we are probably the strongest in it.

Inter, Roma, Sevilla, PSV, Ajax and Napoli are stronger than us.

      Inter are sh*te

If we get Sturridge back and we solely concentrated on this competition and got to even 80% of last season with a main goal scoring threat up top we would be a match for any of those

Inter are having a bad season but they are seasoned europeon competition performers. We have been in and out for the past five seasons. So our entire season rests on Danny's fitness after spending £120 million. Bit mad isn't it?

That's not the point I'm making

Where are where we are and if Sturridge comes back to near what he was last season then we could get back on track, the others around him with someone putting the ball in the net may grow in confidence..

I've said all along how we replaced Suarez had crippled us but the fact is Sturridge is due back in the new year and could make the difference.. If he does the we shouldn't fear anyone in this

I'll settle for that. There were much harder possibilities in that draw.

Will be a tough away game. You know what Turkish atmospheres are like.

Should be putting them out though with no major problems.

Doubt we'll get the same scoreline as the last time.
Is that 8-0 still a record?

      Ah yes, and Demba Ba.
Another chance for media to roll out the slip.

      F**k it Stevie.

William Hill have us as joint favourites to lift the trophy along with Roma (10/1).

Not sure what the stadium situation is with Besiktas, against Spurs it was played elsewhere. The stadium was like 80% empty.

The TWO Europa League threads in the Kop Board have been merged. Remember this should be about LFC's participation only.

Discussion of any other teams involvement should be posted in the Europa League's thread in the European and World Football Board.

      Media on Twitter:
How will Liverpool cope with a side that are running away with their home league?
