Another One Bites The Dust.

If we sign no one this window top 4 is out the window for sure. We won't even win the league cup. We need a striker and a goal keeper minimum.

This I agree with. We have to sign someone of a decent standard to help us achieve that top four finish.

A striker? A defensive midfielder? Maybe a goalkeeper too?

Three areas that were not really addressed during the summer. Then again, buying three top or at least competent plauers in these positions will not guarantee us that top four finish.. But signing no one leaves us with no chance. It's a gamble we are not willing to take.
