I remembered when Aly Cissokho was linked every transfer window for 4 years and then it ended up coming true 

Isn't this a position that we have the most depth in? We have Lallana, Sterling, Coutinho, Markovic even Ibe. I'm probably missing out someone here too. time has went and the position has been strengthened. We need players in other areas now.

You are right, you can add Ojo, Kent, Canos and Wilson onto that list for next season, also Teixeira & Suso if he signs up. Argh, why did we buy Lallana and Markovic... we have so many talented attacking players.

I'm wondering too, in fact why did we buy so many youngsters anyway, expecialy in attack. We've so many young talented players and they won't play because of Origi,Lallana and Markovic. We could've used the 45 mil much better

Thinking about it now, I actually can't believe the amount of talented young attacking players we have. I actually think they can all make it as PL players at the very least.

I can understand Origi as I see him more of a #9, but Lallana and Markovic I don't get.

We didn't really need Origi, we already have Sinclair, Yesil and Ojo.

I'd actually like Shaqiri here. We lack match winners, and I think he is a quality player, a commodity which we haven't got enough of.

I wouldn't sign him at the expense of a quality goalkeeper though.

Apparently we have submitted a 14m Euro bid for him.

In my opinion, he is a cut above Markovic, Lallana, Coutinho and Ibe and would be a starter. It also seemed he was the number one target before Markovic and Lallana too.

I actually think he's very overrated. He has a big ego and his finishing isn't good. His dribbling and his passing is okay. I think he's worse than Lallana and Coutinho. He's as good as Markovic.

I would say he is a better finisher than both Markovic and Coutinho. Good long shots as well.

Would Shaqiri be able to play effectively as a lone #9?

You'd think we'd try to solve our striker problems first.
