The moment he took Lucas off over Gerrard is the stage I realised that the manager has not got it in him to drop Gerrard when you need to.

Should have played the same midfield that we did against Swansea.

we are shitt but congrats to leichester, they deserved it. they had two bad decisions against them and they still didnt let that decide the final say.
we on the other hand, didnt want the ball after our two goals. if thats tactic, i dont know but whatever it is. it needs to be fixed.

Never in that game from the first whistle to the last. Still had the couple of chances to win it late on but didn't take them.

Brendan's going to get a lot of stick for that team selection and rightly so, got the centre midfield partnership all wrong and why Borini came on for Lallana I will never know.

You do get some strange results over the Christmas period, pretty much everyone has experienced that this time around. All in all though we haven't done too badly taking 7 points out of nine, disappointing not to win again but these things happen. Unbeaten in eleven now and we move on.

While the results aren't predictable, the response of much of the forum because we failed to win a game we should have unfortunately isn't. God only knows what stick Brendan will come in for off the mob, I think I'll leave it alone for a day or two then come back in a while to sift through the mouth foam. BTW happy new year everyone!

mate... how can you rip on migs when he is one of our smaller worries from today's performance... and yes he was sh*te.  both goals he really had no chance on.  it is more the defenders/midfields' fault than the keepers

we need a real striker up top... 1-2 midfielders ... and someone in CB that can actually organize our circus play at the back.

Just not good enough drawing to a bottom of the table team at home. Feels more like a loss to me.

Arguably our best performance of the season against Swansea, so why change it to accommodate Gerrard? He's a liability in that position and has been all season.
