If we were really serious about spending that kind of money (never gonna happen), then I would use it to see if we could tempt Suarez back.

Juventus don't have that sort of money unless of course they cash in on Pogba.

Pjanic's purchase was offset by Morata's sale - so that's no issue!

Zaza to Wolfsburg is almost done for £20m
Dugani valued at £25m and Sturaro valued at £15m have been offered to Napoli

Juve have already rejected Arsenal's bid for Dugani in an attempt to convince Napoli to take a player-plus-cash deal for Higuain. I honestly believe Bonucci wont be sold, as Benatia will be a replacement for Dugani.

So, that's a balance of around £20m. If the deal is in 2 installments, it should be even more easy as Benatia's is a loan and £21m next year. If Juve pull it off, they would have made a severe dent in the only 2 nearest challengers - Pjanic and Higuain are class additions! These two would complete an awesome squad.

Barzagli is 35 and Chiellini has had some injuries recently so i really doubt they will let Bonucci go. Benatia just adds to their depth.

If they want Higuain, they will get him though. Either with money over the table or under it.

Bonkers money. What's happening this season?
There was me thinking we might be able to sign him some weeks back - I've taken some medicine and sat down.

Colleague at work mentioned the fee this afternoon. Granted Higuain is a top player but £70m + is silly money...

Not only that but with every passing window the deal we did for Suarez looks an absolute steal from a Barca perspective.

We should have chained him to the Anfield dressing room.

Described on 5Live by a 'tweeter' as "£75m for the 4th choice Argentinian CF".........

Jaysus Barca got a bargain - hope they at least wore a mask...........

Same here mate, given he is 28-29 and his agent had announced he wasn't going to sign any further deals with Napoli I fancied that he would go for around the £40 million mark or a touch above and he would have been well worth the fee but 75 million is frickin, especially for an Italian club to pay it. I suspect the Pogba deal will be announced in the next 48 hours. I wanted us to throw £60 million of the Suarez money at the lad two summers ago, would have been our CM sown up for the next 10 years.

Remember you saying that as well..

The TV money has caused another massive increase in transfer fees, which could have been anticipated by the owners.

If we had done some better business that very summer we sold Suarez, we might actually have a world class player in the team. The idea of us signing Pogba now is ridiculous.

Crazy isn't it mate. Juve are also going to end up losing about 12-15m of that by giving it to his agent so I think they have about 1-6m left (if they sell Pogba for 100m) :D How the F**k do you sell somebody for 100m+, buy a really good striker but only have 7 figures left?!
