Went for Can as MOTM (with Lucas/Cou/Sterling close). Sure, gave away the peno, but he showed lots of 'grit and determination' as Hansen would say, used the ball well, got forward a bit too, and all playing out of position. Just gets more impressive the more I see him, growing in confidence. Keep it up Emre!!!

Thought we were very good tonight. The draw was the very least we deserved. Might not be good enough but we have some hope at least.

I have a feeling with one eye on their game v City which if they win they have virtually wrapped up the league, we have a great chance of coming away with a win FFS Sunderland managed it last season at the Plastic Bridge.

Can't believe Jamie Carragher giving Emre Can a pasting.  For a young midfielder he's doing a much better job than Lovren could dream about.  Would have loved to have seen Jamie contorting his body around Hazard who is a very skilful player.

Sakho was again immense - easily the best centre-back at the club - the three of them are doing an excellent job of preventing Mignolet facing too many chances which (sadly) is needed.

Lucas had another decent game - he has to learn to avoid those first half yellow cards though - going to end up costing us sooner or later.

Was disappointed with Gerrard who lacked pace and probably more importantly mobility at times.  Certainly in the first half a few balls came across and he was about 15 yards outside the box.

I was pessimistic about this tie but we played much better than I expected and like a fool I've now been suckered in to optimistic thoughts about next Tuesday!!

He's looking like the player he was pre-injury - taken him a while but makes a mockery of why he was almost sold and playing second fiddle to Joe Allen.  Long may his renaissance continue.

The best positive I can take from that match is that Chelsea came to win, but barely got a sniff in front of goal. Credit to our defence especially Martin, he wanted every ball like it was made of gold.
Have Coutinho MOTM, but he as run close by Markovic, the amount of running forward and back he does is immense, always wants to be involved in the play. Lucas was a rock today, his best game for a while now.

Forgot to slate the ref. He managed to keep up with play, but still got a lot of calls wrong,  from close distance too which makes it worse!

He's young, naive and as a result, will make mistakes. Heck, it's really the only big error he's had so far in his young career at Liverpool

But that will go with experience and apart from the mistake he was great tonight.

I think we can excuse him tonight.
