Did the club change the ground staff during the summer?

It's a long long time since I've seen the pitch look so patchy. It's usually like  a green on a golf course

      Old school pitch.

May be the cold weather, I don't know.

Noticed at the Swansea game just before after Christmas that it was looking a bit sh*te.

Did we get rid of the good old boys that did the job,
and bring in some younger/cheaper replacements?

Nah...the head guy got an offer to work at St. Andrews (his life's dream) and we've struggled to replace him and his second in command has been injured and on the bench...think he's due back soon though so maybe it will improve then.

BR quoted recently saying its an old pitch that has just not been reseeded or replaced. its getting done in the summer so it will be quality again.

Arsenal Bob Wilson fails to stop Liverpool's John Toshack scoring in a 2-0 win at Anfield in January 1971.

Players have it cosy these days.
