Front 3 of Marko, Couts and Studge looks tasty and extra firepower from Ibe as Wing Back.

Gerrard as DM doesn't inspire me with confidence. Poor Hendo will have his work cut out covering for him. Cue Fed ranting!

Big blow to be without Raheem and Lucas. Stu is still not fully match fit. This will be a tough game trust me.

      1:1 I predict.

Rumours are Stevie starts in the deepest mf spot with hendo alongside him, seems we're reverting back to last seasons "blitzkrieg" with 2 tricky speed merchants up top.

      Migs
      Can
      Skrtel
      Sakho
      Ibe
      Stevie
      Hendo
      Markovic
      Cou
      Raheem
      Studge

Sterling has been ruled out, debs. :(
      Markovic would be my choice.

With injuries etc. would probably now go with this instead

                   Mignolet
          Lovren     Skrtel     Sakho
      Markovic   Can     Hendo    Moreno
             Ibe          Coutinho
                  Sturridge

Can to protect back 4 / be solid down the middle. But with good attacking options.
Not sure BR would play Ibe further forward, even though he looked confident with the ball in the final third vs Everton.
Wouldn't start SG, need to be high energy which is a pity Sterling's out

i agree with bringing Lovern back in the team, he needs to be brought back slowly...

I like this team... Can in midfield, Ibe up top... YES!!

Yea I would agree with this team as well actually. Unless there is a particular reason why Lovren shouldn't play (i.e. he is in a mental institute / crying constantly / has an injury), he should start to prove his worth. Plus I think Hendo and Can in the middle would provide enough cover so that Lovren isn't so exposed.

If it were up to me:
                                      Migs
                             Can   Skrtel   Sahko
                 Markovic   Hendo   Gerrard   Ibe
                           Lallana      Couthino
                                  Sturridge

Back 3 cannot change at this point, they are playing too well as a group. I am a Joe Allen fan but after seeing how easily he was nudged off the ball against Everton, I don't want to see him vs Spurs (although last year he played very, very well against them). Sterling being out may be a good thing for him, hasn't played that well lately IMO. Mario should be on the bench for this one. If needed, I would like to see how he and Studge are together up top. If we can contain Kane, I'd say 1-0 in our favor. If we don't, it will be another disappointing result against one of the bigger clubs.

Put Markovic in for Sterling as part of the front three. Since the Sunderland game he's been useless at wing back so with Ibe playing well at the weekend there it's a good chance for Lazar to show what he can do further up the pitch (in his more natural position).

Yea, BR probably won't want to mess with the back 3, and with Lucas out would be cleaner for SG to come straight in, avoid a lot of change.
But imo SG has been poor recently, so if he didn't start I could understand why too.

Someone suggested playing Can in Lucas's place and Lovren as a CB. I'd rather play Glen as a CB than Lovren, seriously. This lad made me age 5 years with his horrendous display in our defence, cost us alot of points, and we don't have the luxury of trying experiments with our formation anymore.
