Not too sure about this as I can't think of many Russsian names who have done very well in our league.
I know little of this player, so can't comment on his quality. But whatever preconceptions you have on Russian players or Russian football doesn't apply to him, he grew up in Spain. Not that I think nationality is relevant, there are always exceptions to the rule.
