Nothing satisfies me more than us giving them a good walloping at their own backyard.

Time to show these idiots that payback time is in this game.

Perfect game for Balotelli to start and try to build on his goal. Would like to see him play alongside Studge with one of Coutinho or Lallana in behind. Other than that, keep the same structure we've used with great success lately:

      Migs
      Lovren - Skrtel - Sakho
      Ibe - Can - Hendo - Moreno
      Coutinho
      Balotelli - Studge

Bring Markovic/Lallana/Lambert/Borini on for Studge after about 60 mins to save him for the game against Southampton.

Well, I wouldnt move Can out of defence just yet.. Would prefer to bring Lovren into the 11 for the Thrusday night game rather than this.

      Mignolet
      Can-Skrtel-Sakho
      Lazar-Hendo-Allen-Moreno
      Lallana-Coutinho
      Sturridge

Subs - Ward, Johnson, Lovren, Rossiter, Sterling, Lambert, Balotelli

That's the team for me too. Bring Balo and Lovren back into the fold on Thursday and no need to risk Raheem tomorrow, should be able to win without him.

We must go into the game with full vengeance, reminding ourselves what happened last season, what they did to us and what we need to do to them now.

They tend to be fired up playing at home, hence, we must fight for every inch of the pitch, harass them, tackle them hard, close them down fast, ruffle up their feathers, bully their defence and we need Balo on the pitch.

If Allen can't play against Crystal Palace he has no value to the team. Can has to start in the back 3 for our solidity he can move up later if things not going as planned

I think we've already established Allen has no value to the team.  expecting him suddenly to turn into a Liverpool quality player is like sniffing your own sh*te for years on end, hoping one day it will smell like flowers.

in other news, go on Mario lad, bag us a hat trick.   xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

would really like to see him and Sturridge paired together.  won't be a little-and-large partnership, rather a "lively-and-lethargic" partnership.  But it could work!

I agree with you totally, we have got to go at them from the kick off and not let them back in the game. Also Mario might justify being selected to play by grabbing a couple of goals, that goal last week might just have boosted his confidence.

Sterling out so guess lallana in . Needs to stick with 5 at back so either Can or Allen in middle , Lovren to replace Can if he moves up one . Ballotelli on bench not warranted a start

Every chance I'll fall asleep during this. Saturday games are a pain in the arse for me, as of late, due to doing overtime at work. Bring on Thursday-Sunday games.

With all the injuries I suppose the question is Lovren or Allen? Both players out of form / favour and there is no way we can change the system as its serving us so well recently. Would probably opt for Allen to keep that back 3 intact.

                        Mignolet

                 Can   Skrtel   Sakho

      Markovic  Henderson Allen  Moreno

               Coutinho      Lallana

                       Sturridge

Hard place to go and its been a nightmare for us recently down there but time to put the record straight!

I know Mario has been questioned by the boss and castigated by some of the fans about his work rate, or lack of.

But I must be watching SuperMario on the Nintendo 64 then because I can't fault his work rate and effort. His movement has been very poor but that's not work rate, that's a lack of brain. Which leads him to stray offside as well, killing our momentum. But I think on the work rate front the lad is trying and give him his dues.

I'd give him a start for this one, failing that against the Turks next week. I would like to have a look at Balo and Sturridge together but we've got a good thing going at the moment with the likes of Sterling, Coutinho, Lallana and even Markovic dong well in supporting the lone striker. It isn't broken so I don't think I'd risk the pairing up front, even though I am intrigued to see what can eventuate from the two forwards.  :-\

Either way, him and Sturridge should be tagging each other on and off over the next two upcoming fixtures.
