We're his boyhood idols, apparently. Maybe that's more important to him than CL football... 

The only reason we'd be after him is because he's out of contract after this season. Instantly meets our requirements. However, he's not really a striker, he's a left winger, and we don't need wingers, do we. Don't think he'd improve us much either to be honest.

There were rumours in France last year we were scouting him, so may have some legs (except we are supposed not to be looking for wingers now, and he's certainly more a winger than a striker).

IMO he'd be at least a good addition to the squad (and would probably walk into 1st team if we are to lose Sterling and Markovic don't improve a lot), and would be a bargain if he's a free signing.

he scored one and was very involved in the second against the mancs
They( Swansea) have a very good manager IMHO,
I saw a very good transformed shelvey under him
as soon as they went down against the mancs , he changed tactics and confused LVG/

but as said above Ayew is a SWANSEA player  now who (if I am not mistaken ) got him on a free
And it should be closed, unless there is a REAL interest in the next hours???  which will not happen  and if it does  I'm sure Monk will not let the player leave , just after 4 games  and doing well

even if at the moment the SWANSEA player is showing more,
The fact is we got Lallana (who I think will deliver ,if tactically played at the right postion)  and its useless at this point to make comparisons with a player we cannot have now

I'm guessing Ayew was available on a free at the same time as we bought Lallana? Thought not.
