Can will be our powerhouse midfielder. We don't need a right back we play wing backs now we have Ibe and Markovic for that.
Agree with your outs and I would add Balotelli to that list as we can do much better.
Would love Dybala he looks amazing. Wouldn't mind replacing Balotelli with Berahinho.
Bolasie is nowhere near good enough for us. No end product.

I can't see us sticking to 3 at the back next season. We actually can't hold a draw with the current squad in a 4-4-2, we need players to be able to adapt the system so I can definitely see a right back coming in.
Can/Lucas coverage for DM could work next season, but realistically I think we need someone else in if we are fighting on 4 fronts.
Im a big fan of Bolasie, Palace have been a completely different side this season when he's in the squad. Would slot right into FSGs low outgoing costs policy.

If QPR get relegated I'd love to see us snap Charlie Austin up.

I think we are missing a player like him for up top, as Lambert will go.

Charlie Austin We must aim higher that that mate surely, is he better than Berahino or Ings not for me.

Anyone watched Carvalho? Only seen him play for Portugal once and he was garbage.

Can someone create a post listing all our players and their current contract lengths and weekly wages as i think it might raise a few eye brows with a few coming upto the last 18months.

I feel last summer was about building squad size to be able to cope with the additional rigours of European football. In terms  of this summer I think a lot depends on a top 4 finish, if we do I'm hoping to see 1-2 top drawer players with CL experience come in with only a few fringe players out. I think we have assembled a very competent squad of young talent with a bright future given the progress made over a small time frame. I be genuinely happy if we only signed one world class talent to compliment that

No-one knows the exact values of the contracts. There are adequate guesses available though. From the beginning of the season:
PLAYER   AGE   Weekly Salary   CONTRTACT REMAINING
      Simon Mignolet   26   £60,000   4 Years (2018)
      Brad Jones   32      1 Years (2015)
      Mamadou Sakho   24   £75,000     3 Years (2017)
      Daniel Agger   29   £65,000   2 Years (2016)
      Martin Skrtel   29   £90,000   2 Years (2016)
      Dejan Lovren   25   £70,000   5 Years (2019)
      Kolo Touré   33   £60,000     1 Year (2015)
      Tiago Ilori   21       4 Years         (2018)
      Sebastián Coates   23   £50,000    2 Years (2016)
      José Enrique   28   £65,000    2 Years (2016)

      Glen Johnson   29   £90,000   1 Year (2015)
      Javier Manquillo   20   £25,000   2 Year (2016) [Loan]
      Martin Kelly   24   £40,000   3 Years (2017)
      Jon Flanagan   21   £40,000   1 Year (2015)
      Lucas   27   £65,000    3 Years (2017)
      Emre Can   20   £60,000
      Jordan Henderson   24   £55,000    2 Years (2016)
      Joe Allen    24   £45,000    3 Years (2017)
      Steven Gerrard   34   £140,000    1 Year (2015)
      Adam Lallana    26   £75,000   5 Years (2019)
      Coutinho   22   £60,000    4 Years (2018)
      Suso   20       1 Year (2015)
      Oussama Assaidi   25   £50,000   2 Years (2016)
      Raheem Sterling   19   £40,000   4 Years (2018)
      Lazar Markovic   20   £35,000
      Daniel Sturridge   24   £80,000     4 Years (2018)
      Fabio Borini    23   £60,000    3 Years (2017)
      Rickie Lambert   32   £45,000   2 Years (2016)

Bold are out of contract in the summer. Italics have til the year after. I can only see Hendo, Flanno and Skrtel renewing from that list. As for raising eyebrows; I doubt it - nothing that wasn't already common knowledge.

I hope the board aren't. Hopefully they aren't 12 year olds playing FM. The board leave inward transfers to Rodgers and the rest of the committee, and presumably all outgoings are 100% Rodgers choice.

Anyway, speculation about transfers is painful enough in the summer. Can't we enjoy the football in peace for a few months?

Can you see us aiming much higher than that? Possibly Lavezzi, who is actually 29.
From what I've seen this season I would maybe rate Austin above Ings but he may prove me wrong, Ings was fairly quiet last night apart from one good looking moment.

Just to assist, I remember Tiago Ilori was on £30k per week when he signed and Emre Can is on £45k per week.

thanks for putting that up mate, makes you wonder how can Sterling demand 130k a week when gerrard was on 150k and has been there his whole life and won so much. 80k a week is more than enough i say we make him sweat it out all summer and see what he's playing like come nxt xmas before giving him a new deal. Henderson cant turn down 100k a week if you look at the others wages which are not that high compared to UTD, Chelsea spurs. DS is on 80k a week and you cant tell me Sterling has contributed more to LFC that he has so far!

I am a little wary when it comes to trying to double-bluff players.

Its difficult enough to get talents to join the club the ilk of Sterling and Henderson but you also want to be fair and negotiate contracts without upsetting the other players in the squad who are perhaps more experienced and have done more for the club.

If we have indeed offered Sterling £100k p/w and Henderson £80k p/w then I would like them to accept that. The club have basically 'made' them the the players they are today. The club gave Sterling his chance and stuck with Henderson when he wasn't performing and nurtured them into whom they are today. Of course, there is scope for a pay increase as they get older or a few years down the line like we have done with other players who have had wage hikes.

It is a tad unreasonable for the club to give Sterling over £100k when players like Sturridge and Coutinho are on far less but have been at the club longer (and are better players at the moment).

Saying that we do not want to lose these talents either as they are the future of the club. Its a Catch-22 situation.

linked with Danni Alves now haha cant see that being true myself as he wants like 100k a week and is 31 and were getting rid of someone on 90k a week for being older and not as good as they once was...
