Workmanlike performance which is needed against teams that keep it tight. Though Hendo played well, my motm went to Can because he seemed to work so hard up and down the pitch.

That was very good goalkeeping too. He would never have come that far off his line in the first half of the season.

These all round team performances, could not have come at a better time. Especially with Man United playing at Anfield later in the month.

I gave my motm to Hendo  he had a fine performance and a cracker of a goal , lets hope scoring becomes infectious with him . Rodgers has the lads playing lovely footie and he deserves the big credit here , he's made some brave decisions of late and we're reaping the rewards now .

Lets hope Brendan has got the cojones to not start Garrard automatically and keep him benched. 

Hendo and Coutinho are both blossoming without Stevie's presence.

Another thing, the squad is obviously loving life right now when everyone pressed for pretty much the full 90 minutes. The game was dead at 2-0 and the boys still grinded it out. Emre didn't stop running and that interception late on against Ben Mee typified the mentality right now.

Excellent performance bearing in mind it was our third game in 7 days. Scored the goals then controlled the game, we have learned from our mistakes last season when going hung ho cost us.

The way Henderson bossed the midfield was Gerrard like even down to the goal and assist.
He is just a machine, the way he was pressing Burnley in the 90min you would have thought it was the first minute, his strengths certainly outweigh his deficiencies, the saying "two thirds of the world is covered in sea and the other third by Henderson is true!
