At kick off I was bladdered went to bog and missed hendos goal.
Went to the bog again and missed Sturridges goal.
Staggered in and flicked on the telly and yup you guessed it our game was finished and the aftermatch interviews were on ........still havnt seen the bloody goals.

Ha ha I feel your pain. I've actually gone the toilet many a time to try and make us score as it's happened that often.

Back in 2001  watching uefa cup final in the boozer every time I went the toilet Alaves scored, needless to say by the end of the game piss was coming out me ears.

 

Another great performance and result. Since Christmas we have been the best team in the league and I have no doubt we can get fourth spot if not third or second. We will beat United. Im not even worried about United anymore. They are playing sh*te football. IMO we will overtake Arsenal and if City drop a few points we will grab second. We are playing with more confidence and style then even Chelsea. Love our tactics our individual performances and our desire to win. Brendan has shown how good a manager he is in a very difficult situation. I believe no team wants to play us right now. Some might say im being over confident but I can both see it and feel it. Keep it going lads.

Yes he did mate, was right in front of me, it was a flick header after Agger (I think) had initially headed the ball back towards the goal

We're now getting the ball to the edge and inside the opposition box more often than before and no opposition defence likes, moreso chelski and we must expose chelski's defence big time.

He did too. I was on a mini holiday in Melbourne drunk off my tits so that'd explain why I forgot that one.

As for the Sturridge headed goals thing; he scored 4 last year. Thats not a bad number.

For the first time this season I feel confident that we can come away from this game with a win and a clean sheet with it.

They are 2 young footballers who can really put this club back where they belong at the very top. Henderson is certainly making a good job of being captain and Can is providing the bite we have lacked in defence. Just got to hope they are here for the long haul.

That's the one concern.
Just once I'd like to see the group stay together.

Only managed to catch the hi lights, but Hendo seems to have hit a decent bit of form at the right time.
Always was a grafter, but now starting to make his time on the ball a lot more productive.
Surprised to see little joe put in a good performance again. Two on the trot, unusual for him. He's also playing with more positive forward moves now, not just the easy sidewards passes he has been slated for.
Lets hope they can keep it up, looked a well controlled solid performance all round.
