Ugly win, but damn 3 points is 3 points. Sometimes you just need a fluke/lucky win when you play like crap. We were awful in the first half, but thanks to Mignolet we were still in it at halftime. Much improved in the second half, got a lucky goal and won.

I thought Joe Allen was excellent, especially in the second half. And it was good to see Gerrard come on and make an impact.

Somehow won, so happy days!

Gerrard coming on did help change the game. We looked in control second half.

Massive 3 pts. We go beat the scumbos, we're into top4. Plenty of incentive ... as if the 3-0 defeat wasn't enough.
Not great 2nd half, but we were definitely the better team. Would've been nice if Studge had hit the net instead of the post.
Sterling had great chance too, just needed a little touch over the keeper, but he lifted it way to high.
SG made a difference when he came on, possession was better and he made some good tackles.
And Hendo getting another goal.

Didn't see the second half as my feed was crap so listened to the radio instead.

How was it? Appalling first half, but seemed to step it up in the second half?

Much better second half and the little tweak from Rodgers worked with the wing backs pushing up and wide letting Allen and Henderson push a bit further forward.

Migs, Skrtel and Sakho (2nd half) were great, got to love that dribble up the left touch line towards the end  but Allen was a standout again.

Stevie added a calming presence in midfield.

Sterling and Lallana much better in the second half.

Sturridge is clearly still rusty.

Another good game from Joseph "never influenced a game" Michael "in his whole life" Allen, it seems. Who would've thought?

Gave MOTM to MIGs. If it wasn't for his saves in first half game might have been over by half time. Joe, Skirts & Sakho also deserve a mention.
