I'm confident in our ability to beat these fuckers mate but my worry is Atkinson. The way Officials have gone this season, they've ruined more games from their cockups than ever before and he's been one of the worst. If he can control the game without producing unnecessary early cards (unless they're for their players) then we might have a chance. Shocking really that I'm more worried about the ref than any of their players but that's how it is these days.
Anyway back to the game, they'll set up to defend first and foremost, they'll sit deep and try to bypass the midfield. They're expecting us to come out all guns blazing so I'm hoping Brendan will do the complete opposite. We're capable now of controlling a game, keep possession or let them have possession and invite them onto us, leaving space in behind. They may have higher profile players but we have the better team.
3 points is all that matters today, how we achieve it is secondary.
I agree mate, be sensible and just let the players ease their way in to the game, no need for the gung ho approach today, I'm confident our lads will have the measure of them,
As for Atkinson, and Howard before him we should just get on with the game, surrounding the ref ala Chavs isn't in our psyche, and to borrow Shanks comments, referees won't score against us or words to that effect, keep our discipline with cool heads and we will prosper,
