If they sacked him they'd only employ a caretaker until seasons end so no there wouldn't be any extra time for that.
Unless Klopp joined us now, he isn't a manager of anyone right now.

Ain't gonna happen, mate. The man would most likely get his pick of whatever position becomes available over summer, he isn't gonna rush into accepting a job here.

Edit: And as others have said he's still at Dortmund.

Exactly, sacking Brendan now won't change the fact that we won't finish 4th. So why would they bother?

Possibly so that the new manager can prevent an exodus of players in the summer.

Fair point, I think some of these players would like a change of leadership.

      Possession

      WBA 26%
      LFC 74%

I don't like talking about players who have left, but Barcelona got a F***ing bargain.

Looked like a half arsed performance to me. WBA'S back 8 didn't help, but very little in the way of quality balls via crosses or through balls into their box is criminal. Looked like half were on already on the beach to me. Which could be a bad sign for Brendan...

Mignolet (7.5) - Done well when called upon
Can (6) - As usual burst forward well at times but lost count of the amount of times he gave the ball away in simple passes
Skrtel (6.5) - Was sometimes 2nd best in a few battles and had the dodgy clearance but other than that coped.
Lovren (8) - His best game in a red shirt, never really done much wrong just a few long balls forward that could have been better, my MOTM.
Johnson (6) - His standard performance really, got into some good areas forward but just doesn't really do enough and lost possession a good few times
Henderson (5) - Took me till 60 minutes to realise that he was on the pitch, completely ineffective which is something that creeps up alot about him lately
Gerrard (5.5) - Had a lot of space and time on the ball to ping some passes but I think due to lack of movement up-top he was pretty ineffective.
Coutinho (7) - Had a good game and at least showed some positive intent throughout, just perhaps lacked that final touch of quality
Ibe (7.5) - Similar to Coutinho, showed a lot of positivity and was very close to a goal when he hit the bar, was pretty frustrating to see him taken off, was miles better than Sterling
Sterling (6) - To be fair he was marked by 2 men every time he got on the ball which made things hard for him but his performances have dropped off pretty poorly recently, not saying thats strictly down to the contract issue though as pretty much everyones performances have dropped.
Balotelli (6) - Lacked the final bit of quality but was pressing the ball quite well in the first half, thought again it was a tad unfair to take him off.

      Lallana - 6
      Borini - 5

Worried from the beginning seeing Balo starting
why not Lambert,( not that he is a suarez) but I am sure he would have fought for the ball more than '''super''' Mario

on the game!! Pulis's teams always play like that , defend defend  ,berahino played more near the wba box instead of the Liverpool one, Liverpool , with the present team will always struggle against these type of teams like wba
a big well done to the travelling kop, they made us proud , unlike some of the players

We just don't know how to break down this park the bus tactics down.
We could of played another 90 mins and still wouldn't of scored.
So poor in the final third all day

Lovren was my MOTM solid in defence and nearly got the winner in injury time.

It's strange really, it's as though we need a proven goal scorer given the loss of Luis and Studge for most of the season.

      Who'd of thunk it.

For those who may call for the gaffers head after this, you may wish to suck my dick.

That was the first post I've read in this thread since the game finished. It can only go downhill from here I'm sure.

Can't keep using the loss of Suarez as an excuse. We got given a handsome amount of money but the committee and Brendan pissed it down the drain.

It was obvious Suarez was leaving since the day he put in his transfer request to go to Arsenal, so it's not an excuse. Sturridge has always had injuries, so again, no excuse.

Piss poor planning at Liverpool, as has been the case for as long as I can remember, is to blame.

But will anything change, will there be a change of approach? Will there bollocks. We will never win trophies again under the current regime, of that I am certain.

I see Ballotelli got a start but as I missed the first 3/4 of the match don't know how he performed but seeing the posts on here he was his usual self, which again begs the question Balotelli as a one up front when has that ever worked for us previously?

When I saw Borini warming up I thought great, Rodgers is going all out for the win, take off Johnson or the like only to see Balo hauled off!!
Don't think I saw Borini touch the ball while he was on.

Typical muddled up thinking from Rodgers thst we have seen all season.
