The Spending table of all the Premier league clubs over last 5 seasons

I may be reading this wrong but over the last 5 seasons not including this season i think we are 4th in the spending. i'm just loooking now for figures and comparisions to see if they all match. here is the link to the first one some might be suprised at who's also in the top 7

i do think looking at what we bring in we need to try and go a summer/winter not spending a great deal and hopefully we have the players that can get us a top 4 because if we can do that and get back in CL without breaking the 50mil mark i think we will be in a good place with the revenue we bring in and CL money.
main issue is getting the manager to buy into the idea of just getting 2 top players for 40mil each and getting FSG to agree to that.

When are people going to just forget that we have owners who run a business and not a football club and move the F**k on....what can we do about it anyway?

they saved our F***ing lives ffs? do you not remember that - we nearly went under....we are the 5th biggest club in England and about the 10th biggest in Europe....that's the way it is and always will be until the money runs out of football and we can back to normality....

I would personally welcome a credit crunch of football where clubs have to survive on the talent of their owners and business acumen, Arsenal and us would do very well.....everyone else would go to sh*t.

The gap between the top 3 and us is crazy

The 3 at the top have spend more than double a season nett, and they have all won the league, thats the diff. right there.

Our Nett spend is only £25mill per season, which is what we have been saying in other threads, that needs to increase if we are to win the league and stay in top 4 consistantly.

Could you bet that if we spent the same ammount we would have won the title ? It's also how you spend it, if you throw money on Lallanas and Lovrens, you're not going to win it.

Yep. Value for money, mate.  That's the secret.  Some of our recent signings (though I wouldn't be so quick to judge Lallana after one injury-plagued season) show a thundering ignorance of that concept.

Defo think its time for us to shop somewhere other clubs are not, south america perhaps.

Its not the spending on players that has hurt us, its the paying of wages. The best players want 200-300k per week nowadays and can get it at 4 or 5 other clubs.

Its disgusting the money they are getting. If the clubs have that much money to burn the tickets should defo be cheaper, and LFC.TV should be cheaper or free again.
