I thought we played well against Chelsea actually. Yes they've already won but Mourinho doesn't like losing, especially against us, so would have had his team up for this game. They still had players like Hazard, Fabregas and Willain on the pitch, so we did well to limit their scoring chances.

We, as always, looked good in the middle of the park and some of our approach play was really good, but we're so ineffective in the last third. We repeatedly got into good positions but failed to put in a decent shot or a good final pass. Not having a good enough, mobile striker doesn't help, we have to address it in the summer.

But overall, I thought we actually put in a good performance away from home, against the champions.

      I now understand his post-match interview :

      And a quote :

"Brendan Rodgers is not the CLUB, he's an employee and as such has a duty to protect the integrity of OUR club, we all back the club and it's our right to be embarrassed when our manager lies through his back teeth (to save face) and leaves the club open to ridicule, why is that so hard to understand..."

Thing is, we don't and he does. Do no harm to let us show our distaste.

Would you want us to be a team that parks the  bus and stops other teams playing?

We used to, you know when we were winning leagues and European Cups. Where do you think Jose learned that particular tactic?

;D@ people saying 'Souness is right'

Dont remember Souness as Liverpool manager do we?

Do you remember him as probably the greatest Liverpool captain of all time, that walked into hell and won?

George, what opinion do you have of Kenny Dalglish, especially celebrating winning the Premier League with Blackburn?.

Sure people remember him as manager , as poor as he was he still got us to Wembley , ,besides that he was one hell of a fckin player and captain for us who took no sh*t on the field and knew what representing this club meant.

Well said lads. Souness is a f**king legend. While he may not have been a great manager he was integral to the success of Liverpool Football Club as a player and captain. My favourite player when i was growing up.

Certainly a man you'd want watching your back in a fight. One hard b***ard who knows what it takes to be a winner. Oh, and one hell of a player!

And when the pressure was on to win he rose to the occasion , and that's the difference between winners and losers .

I think it was a fantastic achievement for King Kenny to win it with Blackburn, and shows how good of a manager he was.

But celebrating a title while being a youth coach at Chelsea is a whole different story, then making stupid decisions and giving weird interviews trying to justify your brainless actions during a match at Stamford Bridge while managing Liverpool is another example of how inept you really in leading a club like ours. And people view him as one of our own, a true red. He's no more than a man hired here to do a job, just like he was at Chelsea, don't ever think he is much more to this club, that he is attached to it besides the paycheck and trying to make a good CV.
