You're acting as though we only have enough for one decently priced transfer. Do you have the inside scoop on how much money we have exactly? You seem to be certain.

We've spent around the same figure net every season under fsg so unless a big transfer leaves it's safe to say the rough figure we will have to spend

Clyne only has a year to run on his deal I believe so he will be on the move somewhere this summer

I think This would be great ,if it happens, which I doubt
the saints know he is a target for 2/3 other clubs apart from LIVERPOOL
so his price tag will be much higher then 10M, I say over 20M , and I am sure all other clubs will offer more to the player, wage wise,
hope I am wrong and this will really happen

So 20M on Clyne and 30M on Benteke....I think we all know how this is going to end up

      Both going to Spurs?

Don't get your expectations high guys, he is highly wanted by Manchester United and he will choose them over us same as depay. United need a RB too so I wouldn't be excited to be honest.

      Right target. Wrong amount.

English. Good season. Wanted by top-4 teams. If you're interested, just pay the premium and get the player. I don't know why do we haggle on good players and are just ready to meet the buy-out clause of the ordinary ones.

#LFC have had a £10m bid rejected for Clyne. He wants to move to LFC. Onus is now on LFC to increase the bid to nearer £12m. (Paul Joyce)

If even a smidgen of the crap we read is true... we really do like embarrassing ourselves on valuations.

into the last year of his contract and seeing we have basically funded southampton for the last year, the club are starting low...

      See PD's answer below.

      Call it an educated guess.

If you want to imagine we'll be any different go ahead mate. One thing I do hope is that you ate right and FSG have had a sudden change of heart.

On reading the link, before getting 'excited', I asked myself; is Clyne good enough for more than one team to be interested; to command a high wage and good enough to spark a bidding war? The answer?...

I quite like Kieran Trippier.

Good to see us starting the transfer window by giving two squad member defenders new contracts and going back to Southampton for some more defenders.

      BUY F***ing STRIKERS YOU BELLENDS.

RB's and LB's are also part of the attack, Johnson is sh*te, Manquillo average, Wisdom average. First sort your defense and get a decent RB like other teams. I don't remember when was the last time I watched Liverpool scoring a goal from a cross from a RB or LB.
I might be against Benteke and Ings as our targets but Clyne is a good player and one of the best RB's in the premier league.

Had in my Fantasy Premier League team all season. Only one I didn't change. He scored points, so he must have been doing something right.

      He's a decent player.

No Danny McGrain - finest RB I've ever seen - but a decent player.

We DO need strikers, but we also need a RB with Jonno leaving and Manquillo not really working out.
He's only a year left on his contract and he hasn't signed a new one - so we have a decent chance, assuming none of the 'big boys' come in an offer him a few more bob.
