How good is Andrea Ranocchia? I once met an Italian fella who was an Inter fan and seemed to think he was class. But that was years ago and Ranocchia was a promising young defender then. Not sure how it has turned out for him in the past few years.

for me he falls into the category of a mistake waiting to happen, don't rate him at all.

Hoffenheim are building a good little team. Might see them grab a Europa spot next season, especially if they keep Firmino.

milner i think was a great deal, he brings so much to the table and puts allen further down the pecking order which is always a good thing.
Planka(cant spell his name) would also be a great addition to the squad to push Markovich and Ibe and offer some of his experiance. not sure on how much a week he wants but i'm sure we could attract him if we wanted to and wouldnt cost us anything so worth the risk.
