You should see the snowbirds that come to Florida from Canada mate, they act like they own the place.

I hope we hang on to get the win so I can hear 50,000 people booing together :D What made me laugh though was when the teams were coming out for the second half there were Canada fans were holding their hands out to get the attention of the England players. 30 seconds later those same people were probably booing.

Living on the edge here. We're one of the worst teams in the world for ball retention.

Bad sportmanship by Canada there, really don't like this team. We put it out so their player can receive treatment and then they kick it out instead of passing it back to the keeper.

It's going to take a better performance than tonight for us to beat Japan. Hopefully we keep hold of the ball better. That would be a top final.

Count me as surprised England has made it this far in the tournament. Some pretty good players in the side, but overall, I just don't see it. Canada, however, have been poor in every game they played, so I can't say I'm surprised they were eliminated.

As it stands, it looks like it will be Germany-Japan in the final and US-England for third. The US still has big problems scoring goals, but on the plus side, that back 5 has been ridiculously solid, which is helping to prevent the opposition from creating good scoring chances. I can't see Germany playing two bad matches in a row, but who knows, maybe the US will find its second gear in attack.

Japan to beat England for me. Japan's tactics are usually perfect, and Japan, more so than any team in this tournament, plays like a true TEAM. Such a good side, yet they've managed to fly under the radar.

Going off England's draw, it could have been much harder. Only top team we've played above us in the rankings is France and even then they only managed a one goal victory. Norway was 50/50 and so was the Canada game so it doesn't surprise me all that much that we've managed to get our way through to the semi's. The reason why Japan have flown under the radar is that they've only scored like 1 goal per game but they're good at keeping clean sheets. I think it'll be a Germany & Japan final. England don't keep clean sheets and Japan won't concede more than 1 as they've shown so far.

Great game by the U.S., we got a couple breaks on the penalty being just outside the box but also didn't get a call on Morgan being drug down in the box right before half.

Scored an extra so doesn't really matter.

Hope England go through, would love to see us play the Brits in the final.

Weird one in the sense that the US played a better match, but they shouldn't have won

Johnston should have been sent off, the first US was NOT a penalty. I'm hard pressed to even call it a foul to be honest since Morgan took such a heavy touch and then exaggerates contact (a common theme if you watch NWSL -- not bitter! ;D). Once it's 1-0, it's a completely different game. That said, Germany should have taken the lead but Sasic blew that penalty. Your mistakes always get punished in this game.

For tonight, I reckon Japan will beat England, so it'll be a rematch of 2011. I don't really see the US losing again to Japan even though they're such a great side.
