I know Hendo isn't a classic DM but Brendan hasn't really played with one since he's been here and I think he has a very good range of passing and is quite tactically aware so could slot in here as he also has the legs that Gerrard and Lucas were lacking last season.

Milner is a hard worker and Clyne is a huge step up from Manquillo/Johnson so I actually think baring injury our defense could be quite a bit better already.

That is a really good looking starting XI for me Si with a bench of Bogdan, Lallana, Lucas, Ibe, Ings, Lovren, Can or something of the sort.

Markovic, Allen, Origi, Toure for Europa/Cups or on the bench depend on the situation.

I think that's more of a "we need 2 goals in the last 10 minutes" team.

Well he has always valued versatility (sometimes to much in some cases) even adding Benteke along with the rest of our signings allows him to do a lot with this club.

I think BR has the tools (as long as we get the striker)...he has been backed, its time to make something happened.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume Benteke and Illarra will be our last 2 signings. I'm also going to assume that we would listen to offers for any of the following:  Enrique, Lucas, Sterling, Aspas, Alberto, Balotelli, Borini, and Lambert.

We have quality depth everywhere except GK, RB, and LB. We have a good mix of exciting youth, proven quality in their prime, and experienced Premier League campaigners. We have some pace;  we have some strength;  we have some "blue collar";  and we have some skill. We look very well balanced in my opinion. As long as we can keep Studge, Benteke, Clyne, and Moreno fit then we should be in good shape. If BR is able to get the lads clicking better in attack, more combative in midfield, and tighter at the back then I think we'll have a shot at competing near the top.

Don't forget 5'8' Nathaniel Clyne at Centre half. And that imposing physical duo of "Fermino" (whoever the F**k he is) and Coutinho anchoring our midfield with Benteke coming in from the left attempting to feed our big #9 Danny Ings.
